My post celebration for my 21st birthday on 07 Nov 2009

Finally, this day had arrived.

I'm kind of happy and also worried in the sense that older by a year liao & more responsibilities would be coming my way too...
haa...
but, it's definitely a happy event in a person's lifetime.

I had a group of fantastic good old friends to celebrate with me and a very nice birthday card was made specially for me.
Once again, thank you guys for everything.
The best wishes that you'll gave was simply marvelous & I love it very much !

Memories (12 midnight)

As I'm getting older and older day by day, I will start thinking of a person's life journey from the day he/she is born into this every min that counts society till the day you've to enroll into kindergarden, pri sch, sec sch, poly/JC etc...
And along these path, there bound to be lots of ups & downs which sometimes you got to be resigned to what is given/shown to us.
In a day, there's 24 hours, however, sometimes it tend to be too short to accomplish much things or rather miss many things as time go pass...
But, sometimes, we would just find 24 hrs simply too long to get over whenever perhaps during our off day (???) where we might find time is abundant as compared to our daily hectic lifestyle.
How busy/free it could be, once the clock pass 12 midnight, it's a brand new day again.

Uncertainties are always happening around us & when you didn't notice that it's there,
by the time you wanted to get it, it's GONE....
But, when you hope to get smth as much as you would like, that's where the time you couldn't get anything but disappointment.

Life is just so amused and yet amazing as it can be.

Perhaps the next time I would get a chance to see a precious future rather than memories...

Memories may be sweet, but not precious to me as it supposed to be, however hope it will guide me to a better tml

A GOOD BREAKFAST

Since months, I had not been awake at such an early morning at 5am to get ready to drive all the way to have my favourite nasi lemak at lorong ah soo & my must-have beverage, TEH !
Dunno why, I couldn't be able to sleep well for the whole night and keep trying to make myself to be in a sleeping mode, but it just doesn't seems to be working.
So, I told myself might's well don't sleep liao, wake up and have my yummy breakfast.

Then, I managed to reach around 6.15am and to my surprise, the nasi lemak stall is OPEN liao !
Normally, they're open only around 6.30am
It must be a lucky day for me yea !

Next, I sat in front of my favorite Coffee beverage stall and have a energy booster of their strong aromatic TEH .....
HOO LA LA...
It jus makes my day...

One thing I must mention about the coffee stall is that the couple are extremely hardworking and can you imagine what time they're already open ....???
5AM !

And the most fantastic part of it is they can remember all their customers preferences such as for some, coffee less sugar, Teh POH (more water less tea) , KOPI ka dai (more sugar) and many many more types of individual likings...
BUT they can all remember it and remember WHICH customer WANT WHAT item...
I must really praise them for this where as their customers' base are so huge from all walks of life and of all ages.
Everytime, I got to be there to make my order b4 6.45am because once approaching 7am,
You would be wondering from far WHAT FOOD are these people queuing for so early in the morning,
but you're wrong, they're queuing for jus a cup of coffee where the queue can be easily reached to a maximum of around 15 people if I didn't remember wrongly.

Perhaps, one fine good day, if you're craving for a nice cup of coffee / tea at a early morning which your nearby coffeeshops are not even open, perhaps you can consider making a trip there.

Thinking of this special date suddenly

I'm extremely busy for this whole week and currently rushing some work.
However, out of the extreme tight schedule I've now,
I got a sudden urge to write this blog and thought of the day (29 April 2009)

It's a very special day to me and the memories had always been living deep inside the beautiful wonderland of mine.
But, I always ask myself, why am I trying to recall smth that I've already let go of...?
Isn't that painful ?

Anyway, I believed everything is FATED to be and whatever will be will be.
Sometimes, do believe blessing is in disguise...

Appreciating our good fortunes

After so much of turmoils that the world had undergone such as 9/11 & the financial crisis,
we should really be more appreciative of what we're given & what we've.
Whenever I happened to see the more unfortunate such as those (handicapped or in a very bad condition) selling tissue papers in hawker centers & beggars eating the leftover of others when they left their tables, I felt very pitiful for them and I will keep reminding myself how fortunate I am now living in Singapore and be appreciative of what heaven bestows.

In the past till now, I do admire the lifestyle of the RICHS & hope to be 1 of these people one day,
however, human propose, heaven dispose.
So, regardless of whether will I be rich or not,
I should be contented that heaven gave me a healthy body (i hope so), a steady career, friends that cares and most importantly, my doting parents.

What else can I ask more where there's a roof over my head & 3 meals to eat.

LIFE must still goes on and reminiscing good memories will be kept in the heart.

Do not waste food & the unnecessary, treasure the things we're given.
Even a bowl of rice carry tears & sweat of the farmer in order to be presented to our sumptuous dining table.
So, start being appreciative if you're 1 of those who had taken things for granted unknowingly or knowingly (i hope not) for the years you lived.

SPH VOLKSWAGEN Lucky Draw on 22 AUG 2009

It was a well-entertained afternoon organized by STRAITS TIMES despite a hot weather where everyone including myself were standing in front of RAFFLES PLACE Park just outside the MRT entrance & exit
It was also filled with lots of lots of people which I guessed there's at least 10 % of singaporean population (maybe not so much too) present to attend this mega lucky draw.
Who doesn't want to win this lovely babe, It's A VOLKSWAGEN GOLF, mind you.

However, I didn't manage to win this car which I also know the chances are so slim that you got to be da*n lucky in order to be the owner of this sweet babe.
There were some small prizes and consolation prizes too,
but, you also got be a lucky one in order to be called up too.
Anyway, although I'm disappointed without going home with "my car" but at least I gained a nice experience especially with such a mega lucky draw event.

PETAS 7th Month dinner on 21 AUG 2009

Finally, every year of this month is back again to practice your vocal in shouting "HUAT AR"...
hahaa...

I think i had shouted numerous times in the 1st week of this lunar 7th month itself liao..
Frankly, I always shout this auspicious phrase whenever I feel like it.
Don't know why, every time after shouting, I would feel exceptionally shiok & lucky.
It's a good thing I bet.

Anyway, Our dinner was held at the usual place this year again at ROLAND restaurant.
But, I didn't had time to take shots of the food because I'm simply too hungry & weak to take any due to the hectic schedule that I had during the day before coming over for this dinner.
However, at least some photos were taken for good memories.

Back to this fun-filled & sadness place after 10 years

Time flies, 10 years had passed.
From a Naive & arrogant young boy, till now an adult.

I had always been trying to avoid going back to this place even though whenever I would pass by.
But, today I told myself since I had been down till so badly, what else is there that I couldn't face ?
So, I turned into the same old carpark & walk around the whole area reminiscing the old days.
Lots of flashbacks came back to me and I noticed the coffeeshop had changed & the provision shop had also became Shop & Save.

I sat down at the same old coffeeshop & ordered a bowl of "Bak Chor Mee" even though I'm not hungry at all. This is because I would like to taste back how much I had missed the good old days of these 10 years & how much I had gone through.
I was simply filled with emotions & I told myself I must get up from where I had fall.
If possible, I hope that in another 10 years later when I'm back to this place again,
I would be of another person with a successful fulfilling life.

feeling miserable

I'm deeply hurt by what had happened to my beloved watch.
I don't understand why after so many years from the very 1st day that I had started to worked so hard from working part-time till full-time during my younger days and saving whatever I could to get what I've now, and yet "lao tian le" is here to take it away again.

I'm really feeling very very miserable...
I almost break out my tears but I tried to hold back,
no one can understand what much I value all my beloved watches that I've.
Everyone got smth that they treasure the most.
For some, there're extreme car lovers for the guys, whereas for the ladies, their expensive handbags are their 2nd life...
It's just work differently for me where I had a passion for watches since young and hope to collect this hobby of mine..
Why does it got be hurt till so deeply which cuts my heart so painfully ?

I really can't sleep & eat just like a motionless soul wandering in a empty shell...
my path of route once again seems to be filled with obstacles which I supposedly had already cleared.
Why has it got to be back again...........??
WHY !

Finally, ION @ Orchard

FINALLY, after talking so much & heard so much of this icon figure in the stretch of Orchard Road,
I'm here today to check it out !

However, before heading down to ION, I actually went to ISETAN to shop around & brought myself a very nice MANGO casual long sleeve which is very well-priced too. No regrets at all man.
aFter which, browse around the wallets department, saw a key pouch with coin-holder function which I need it too,
so, without further ado, I just ask the salesgirl to wrap it up.
I supposed to be working that day, but dunno why, the shopping spree mood jus came & can't stop.
hahaa..

ok, now back to ION again,
I can tell you smth, pls recognise the uniform of the shopping mall TOURGUIDE as they're located at various corners to guide you thru if you're lost or cannot find the way to the carpark which happens to me..
Haahaa...

Although I just did some window shopping up to 2nd level, but it wasn't enough as the mall is too big to cover in just 1 day for me.
Of course, I went to check out my favourite boutiques such as IWC & ROLEX and walk around to see what else could I find.
And I found many boutiques which I didn't expect to be there.
1 good example is PATEK PHILLIPPE.

If not for the sake that I had a appointment, I really can't bear to walk out of ION.
Anyway, I will be back there soon again, and that's FOR SURE !

My happiest day in these 7 years

I had always hope & looking forward for my this long-awaited present for myself after a year & another until now which 7 years had already passed.
Time really flies & finally, I had the life to see this day & got IT eventually.
So happened, today is CEJIE's actual birthday date too..
It's like a double happiness occasion to me..

Come to think of the day where I had gone thru so much of ups & down together and waited till today to achieve this.
I'm really very grateful to heaven giving me this chance to untie my this 7 year knot which hides deep inside my heart.

Dunno somehow or rather, I find life becoming more colorful & brighter after uniting with my this long old "friend".
I really dunno what to say but a grateful heart.

Looking back at the old days, I must admitt we're getting older & older each day..
and of course, experiencing more & more of the "suan, tian, koo, la " of life..

Anyway, life still goes on & we must always hope for a better tomorrow..
